It is emotionally hard to follow this thread. Amageza has been a large part of my life for the past three years until work intervened about three weeks ago :'(. Enjoy guys. See you at the next one :thumleft:.

Mixed emotions. Been a tough year and finally I get a decent contract, but at a cost of not doing the Amageza. My highlight of the year and having to pass so close to the time. And the fittest I've been out of three Amagezas!

Hi Guys. The 570 is still available and I have updated the price. According to my wife this is my only way into the 2016 Amageza! :deal: I'm willing to negotiate on this price if a deal is done before 1 April (money in my account in time for the Amageza special!)

I helped a foreigner with this earlier this year. Since you don't have a SA id document you have to get a traffic register number to be enable you to register your bike on the system. This you get at the traffic department. You need to present your passport and someone that can give you proof...

I'm not a racer, more of a 'participant'. There were some serious RB issues (not that many, but very material in each case), some just missing and other arising from the nature of the terrain (Stage 2 and shifting sand). I agree that RB errors are not just frustrating and could lead to dangerous...

I came off that morning (nothing broken but seriously bruised and in a lot of pain). Gerrit took my 690 for the last 150km to Kang. He is one tough guy and an extreme gentleman.  :salut: :salut: Maybe some of us are just suckers for punishment. See you there.  ;) :ricky:

Thanks Marius and team for a great ride. This was an extreme amount of fun and it was nice to put some faces to the names. Sign me up for next year!  ;)
