In my case, I had to learn to walk first, before I could run :) I cannot wait to upgrade. Exciting times, and I think my 1st trip will be down to Cape Town, and back :)

Looks like the Transalp has to be scratched from the list - it does not come in an engine bigger than a 700cc Models The most usual models are     The XL600V from 1987 - available in the United States in 1989     The XL650V from 2000     The XL700V from 2008
