I have phoned the venue - they do not allow camping and they have space for 38 people if they are willing to share rooms.  So it seems like a limited number of people kind of event.

Realised I took the wrong turn somewhere in the bundus on the mountain pass, turned the 215 kg Tiger around (while switched off!), lost my balance against the incline and realised my legs are too short to stop gravity . . .  Fell on my shoulder, now due for operation  :-[

Planned a great trip with German friend of mine in Mpumalanga.  Absolute stunning route between Malalane and Barberton on gravel over the mountain to Barberton.

I will be in Parys just after 9, so will see u there, Teapot, I have send you my number so you can just tell me where u guys are going to have a bite and I will be there.

I will be able to join and know those roads well, so no problem if GPS is not working.  I would like to meet up in Parys.

I am not sure yet if I can make it (will try) but attached is a 86km ride around Parys that is very nice scenery, 90% gravel.

I am keen to join as well, but I will join in Parys (living in Potch). i know the dome roads quite well, if you want I can do a GPS route - only problem is I do not have a GPS on my bike so someone else will have to show the way.
