At least the ladies was open when I got there a few minutes later. And yes, Zuurberg is pretty rough at the mo, but we cut short at the bottom and went out via Krom rd, which was friendlier on the jarring, but lots of washaways and about 6 (easy) water crossings. Great Sunday for riding!

You could look at coming as a friend of BMW to Bikefest in Grahamstown on the last weekend of April. excellent riding oppurtunities. There is a large contingent of bikes coming through from CT.

I have just today put BMW insurance to bed and moved to Santam, my 800 will be costing me R260 per month as opposed to R598! And Bmw were exceptionally good to me when I parked my  650 off the edge of a mountain, but money is money. I have worked through Indwe who are underwritten by Santam...

This all looks way too tame after what you guys put me through! But ready to go back. Thanks to the amazing companions and fellowship along the way.

Glad you guys where having fun while I was slaving away on the day for someone's 21st! The guy on the 1600 was Oom Gert, who must have one of the most awesome selection of bikes in PE, and to be out and riding them in his senior years is an indication of addiction to two wheels that most of us...

Love the Zuurberg everytime I ride it, and the little road out from the bottom is also great, just watch for ellies in the middle of the road.
