My GS800 had a similar problem and the cause was a faulty fuel pump. Check petrol level when it cuts off, normally happened on half or below. The pump would overheat and stop pumping, after cooling down a while it would run again. By filling the tank it cools the pump and you can ride for a good...

I am looking at buying myself a F800.  By the looks I fell in love with F800 Adventure but I want to get some opinions, is that additional 30k really worth the money? What other differences are there apart from the accessories and the larger fuel tank? Thanks, waiting to hear what you think...
