My wife had the same problem. I ended up buying another helmet and the problem was solved. Give it a go. Walk around the shop with it on for a while to see if the itch starts?  :biggrin:

Yes, thanks for that. This is a number 90. I can only find the 91 on line. Agree about the dates around 1910 - 1920. The 91 I found on line was for sale on e-bay for 49 sterling.  :patch: The best part is that is still like new. Hardly any rust and the jaws are still sharp. 

Yip, it works as smooth as butter. Nice old tool. I cannot find any info on it, but seems to be about 100 years old.  The vernier is old German. My guess about 1910 - 1920.

Some in my collection. I also have an old 1928 OEM valve lifter for a Ford Model T. Let's see who can guess the age of these two?
