let me introduce myself. my name is gavin and been biking for awhile. love doing long trips-last year went to bots and vic falls-awesome trip have also done west coast a few times . am an oldie but only introducing myself now. SORRY

Also went to Bike week had a ball. Great rides and plenty of bikes. R400 thousand for a HD - i could buy two GS for same price and have a lot more FUN! 

Maybe the testing they are doing is for the new LC Adventure engine which is supposedly going to put out more kw than the 1200gs?

HI murphy. i recently did trip up to ZAMBIA  a word of advice do not enter Zambia from caprivi strip at Kazungula ferry- total costs about R2000- rather go through kazungula road into Zimbabwe then into Zambia via Vic Falls much cheaper and more scenic. Regards and enjoy the trip
