Rode it for the first time 4th Jan this year.. was advised by a couple of guys from Oasis, & luckily 2 guys on bigger bikes left a little before us.. we had most of the directions, & were able to "track" them when we got a bit lost...

I was in Sutherland a week earlier, & was warned about the 11:30 fuel station issue..
Luckily a friendly local warned us, & phoned the owner without us asking , & we were able to get fuel on sat eve at about 630.. ( they opened for us specially)...

Dad lives in hermanus this time of year, so he stayed there as we had planned..

My dad made one as in first image years back.. worked fine, altho i think today thats just asking for a fine..
the thing to remember was to disconnect the chain to prevent oiling issues..
I Agree.. Were the "bush plastics" sprayed or vinyl wrapped?
i have been liking the idea of fitting a fairing bag myself for a while.. do you know what he used here, custom or shop bought/
