    Canadian shipping bike to SA...

Calling all Wilddogs...just to say thanks one last time!  I can't believe that I have been so remiss in my duties! I am currently sunning myself in Southern California, while I wait for the (unusual) snow to melt on the Canadian Wet Coast.  My bike is currently in a container in Singapore...

A couple on 990ADV, Cape to Cairo.

Hey ATS30...  congrats on undertaking your great adventure.  I just returned (to NA) from an SA wander, and I have the latest version of the Tracks4Africa GPS card, that I will donate to your efforts in return for a cold one next time I past through Estonia.  We rode through your country last...

My African Dream - reporting from Haiti

Hey Sardine!  Just a cameo appearance back on WD from me...  glad to see your world unfolding as it should!  Remember to keep flying on floats in BC open as an option!  :-)). (Lots of Helo options here too :-))) Take care and be safe over there, Steve

Shipping motorcycle overseas (agent recommendations please)

Call Adrian Schultz at Econotrans in Capetown.  He is a professional that has shipped hundreds of bikes all over the world, and is the goto guy for James Cargo...a strong endorsement.  One stop shop for crating as well.  They did it cheaper, faster and more securely than I could have done it...

    Thanks!!! And farewell!

I just wanted to send out a general thank you to all of the people, dogs and otherwise, that contributed so much to the pleasure that I derived from my travels here in southern Africa over the past 6 weeks. It was an amazing journey, through an amazing part of the world.  I saw so much, learned...

Check out "Global Rescue", a company dedicated to saving one's ass.  Not medical insurance per se, but will cover first class primary medical care and evacuation costs to your home hospital.  Anywhere on the planet, is my understanding.

    Canadian shipping bike to SA...

I've learned the petrol station lesson already.  Not me, but I've become a Trusty Sidekick...one who tows motos with empty gas tanks, apparently.  All the way to permanently closed gas stations!  Nothing that a 200 km round trip with a gas can can't remedy😨 Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

    Walvis Bay/Swakopmund for Christmas anyone?

So how hard can it be to find a Wild dog in Walvis Bay?  Rumours of an invitation to Christmas dinner have been lost in the murk of time.  Any other Waifs or Strays in that area for Christmas? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

That's what I've heard, but rumour has it that there's a Walvis Wild Dog hosting a Waifs and Strays Christmas dinner to itinerant wanderers.  Yum yum.  I can only imagine how much stuffing comes out of an Ostrich!!! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Heading into Namibia today.  One suggestion was to head through Rosh Lunar to Luderitz, the other was to sidetrack to Ais Ais first??? Any other suggestions?  Thinking Walvis Bay for Christmas... Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
