Dakar sold. I'm eyeing a 2013 KTM 250 XCW. Busy with negotiations. 235hrs. Need to do the top end, rest is still good to go.

Sorry man. Would love to keep the Dakar and have a plastic bike, but the money she is the problem.

Thanks gents. Getting more and more excited. KTM might be above my budget at the moment. Will see what the Dakar can fetch and then search for something appropriate...keeping in mind the extra gear. Helmet, goggles and boots sorted.

Good day all
I always wanted to start enduro riding, but never got around to it because,well.....you know how it goes. Said I'll do it before I hit 40 and realised why? That will just be postponing and eventually dropping the idea.
Unfortunately I wont be able to keep my 2006 Dakar and have an...
So, bike runs again!! Very happy.
Initially I went through the side stand switch and wiring and didn't see any chafed loom. After lots of fault finding and help from fellow bikers ( on here especially Jughead and then also Wayne Carruthers from www.f650gs.crossroadz.com.au) I found the spot...

No broken wire between the battery and BMS. Could the problem be between the BMS and motronic relay? Or perhaps the motronic relay itself?

Ok. So, pin 1 gives me 0 V, so seems as if you pointed me in the right direction! Thanks. Will this also explain 0 V at the fuel pump plug on top of the fuel tank? The wire is not red though, but rather green/red.

Just to be sure. On the multimeter, should the red pin go onto pin 1 on the BMS and the common black pin on the battery negative?
Jaja all you " take-a-step-back-put-everything-together-again-and -go-to-a-pro" types, I like to educate myself on certain things and my bike is one. Then dumb...
