The TT was the one with the shortest range, covering +-210Km on a tank, plus we had an extra 5 L handy, thus extending the range up to +- 300 Km.

We were 3 bikes, so we could take more risks, unlike you on one bike.

Day11- A long leg, 660 km from Goodhouse to Van Zylsrus. A lot of sand on single track roads. Plenty of close calls, and a Duiker as a trophy for Eugene, but unfortunately no time to eat it. We are back on track time wise, but the next couple of days it is going to hell to make the distance.

Day10- Aahhh, the most bautiful leg of the trip so far. From Brandkaros we entered the Richterveld communal concervernancy to Vioolsdrift, then we took the Namaqa 4x4 track to Goodhouse. It was the most bautiful track I have ever ridden . - Leo, the KTM is in the gerage, it was the BMW's turn...

Day9 - We had a woonderful time in Loeriesfontein with the locals. Once again it was overcast with drizzle in the morning, but it cleared as we left the mountains. Most of the roads were wide and open with the accasional muddy patch. We were able to reach Alexander bay, the most western point...

Day8- We left Stellenbosch in horrible weather. Near Ceres it was raining cats and dogs and was very cold. The road to Calvinia was spectacular , but a strong side wind strained our necks. A total of 480 km was covered to Loeriesfontein.
