I'm no expert but my first bike that I bought in 2007 was also a 1200 GSA. Took me a few months to get really comfortable and I'm only 1.82m tall. One of the best tourers around, but tricky in sand ( some okes here might disagree though ) Take both for a test drive and see what you like best...

Het vandag my fiets se high en low beam bulbs vervang met Phillips crystal vision H7 bulbs. WOW wat ń verskil. Al wat my pla is dat hulle nogal warm raak, veral as jy jou hand voor die lig hou. Enige iemand wat dalk al ń lig cover gebrand het met hulle, ek weet dis darm nie ń HID nie  :pot:

Hi Tony, Piston Pete het dit voorgestel net voor ons Karoo trip Williston toe. Ek commute nou met hulle en dis meer as fine selfs  op 140km/hr. ( hulle raas net bietjie by daai spoed )  :biggrin:

Good luck trying on finding TKC 80's in Cape Town, especially the back. I had to settle on a Mitas E09, but boy does it handle well on the gravel.  :pot:

Hi guys, I have been lurking around on the forum for the last 2 years, since I sold my 1200GSA. I'm back now wanting to buy a F800GSA. Will be doing much more off-road this time around. Any one know when the prices increased to R152000 ( was at Donford today ) I was able to source a bike...
