i'd like to document this somewhere:
buddy has a KLR, he went through a small river crossing @ baviaans, and then after that the bike did not want to start again.
feared for the worst.
bike went in to electical guy , the electrical unit was tested and replaced but still nothing.
in the end, it...
thanks man
i reckon it'll be a while before i get someone who'll be willing to sell but because i missed out on 2 already ,theres prob a chance of someone needing the cash sometime.
was a 2005 model in wynberg, ad was in gumtree but the guy couldnt keep it for me.
i'm aware of rone's bike and it looks awesome!! but out of my range :(
yeah , they are going for more, but i just missed one for R20 000 (had to have back shock replaced & front tyre replaced) and i had to sell my TW200 for a lot less that i anticipated.
There was also one in Durban for R24000 (2006 model) which i missedo out one.
so if someone is seriously...
also
its not cool for 2 men to use a 2man tent.
apparently its a brokeback mountain move.
also know when to stop talking. koos asked me if i wanted steak and i said "nee, eks nog vol van die wors".
that didn't work with the tent story already hanging.
quotes learned from trailrider this trip:
"biking is like survivor, everybody gets one luxury item. mine is my duvet."
"dis die ding van biking, selfs as dit kak is , is dit lekker".
true.
would be great to see some more people there :)

i emailed Jane at Baviaans Tourism who said its 200km which a 4x4 does in 8...
thanks ouens.
