first time Baviaans rider- what route to take - 1 night in tent

hi, 2 or 3 guys, were doing Baviaans in August. sleeping over in a tent for one night.
first time we do it, any route you can suggest to get some awesome views, where can we sleep over where it's safe and not too cold? (thought about kodommo)
