    Just Bought a 2007 990 Adv Trouble!!!

I have same issue on mine, it seems they are known for high idle issues on higher km's. Mine started +-  80k km. Difficult to say if previous owner was aware of this, mine started the one day without any notice.  Some had success by replacing batteries to a new Yuasa one (made no improvement...

    LC8 clutch oil jet 0.3mm vs 0.5mm ?

As mentioned above, bigger hole is more drag and harder to find Neutral. BUT for me it was worth it - I custom drilled to 0.4mm. And I cant remember the last time my jet was clogged. I do check it with every chain/sprocket change. Maybe once in a week at a robot I struggles to find N, but all...

    Vibration

Yours is not that bad. Mine was similar at +-50k km. Im now on 95k km and still going.  So yes not any issues and will "last" a long time. But I do believe a new booster will tighten the slack in drivetrain and result in smoother gear changes. I cant justify the cost vs luxury just yet. If...

Have you tried "Ecu Sensors". Also a free app on play store specifically for ktm lc4 and lc8. I got the obdii plug and connected to my wiring. I have one of those really small elm327 obdii cheapy bluetooth adaptors , but this does not connect. Think I am going to buy usb obdii adaptor as I...

    TuneECU CABLE for sale locally?

Awesome, thanks for the feedback. I was planning on the exact same method, ie wire into the cables and not buying the stupid expensive adaptor. Glad to hear the OBD plug is cheap.

KTM 950 ADV. backfiring ;cutting out.(incident report)

I also had to replace 1x boot about 2 years ago. Mine cracked when I removed the TB's for a valve/shim service. So yes it does happen from time to time.  Best is to inspect them on service and replace if found to be brittle. Same as with you I had to wait for stock, thus I used a thick...

    Swingarm hole to drain water

While I was busy with my swingarm I decided to remove the shock bolt and inspect. Luckily the bolt came out very EASY. The rust is only on the head and none on the bearing surfaces  :thumleft:. I feel much more confident now knowing my bolt is not rusted and that water in future can drain.

    Swingarm hole to drain water

Okay, so I have drilled the holes last night and plenty of water drained. I was expecting less water to be honest and I must admit the water drained is more than it looks on the pic. The same amount of water drained from the RH side. My Shock bolt / pin is rusted and I think I will struggle to...

    Swingarm hole to drain water

How many have drilled hole(s) in swingarm to drain water. I do water crossings and I noticed the other day that the pin for the shock (inside swingarm) show signs of surface rust, this pin is visible when you remove the rubber grommet on the side of the swingarm. As others have pointed out...

    She Started Smoking today!

If its just smoke dont stress just yet, does the power still feel the same? These KTM's are known for very good piston/ring wear. So do not stress just yet. I would suggest open the air box and check for oil in air box - The oil would be from the oil breather. Airbox can be opened with tanks...

You name it..but nothing brings back the smooth clutch. yes I get it better with times, but no way as smooth as new...
