This is not a good idea. I ride that stretch of road every day,traveling north. Every morning I watch the bikes coming towards me, towards Sandton, in the right hand lane which has been closed. About two weeks ago, in the viscinity of Allandale rd I came across an ambulance and some paramedics...

I agree with silly. If I were some people, I would be embarrassed to admit what kind of money I had spent on bling. I paid R560 for one set of brake pads for the front wheel of the Funduro..... it was not fun CS, if you knew you were going to be ripped off why did you buy the pads at BMW...

+1 I've been in to Northside many times to buy spares, tyres etc. I get excelent service from Steve and the technical guys at the back. But the sales people suck. Every time I go in there I kick a few tyres, and sometimes even sit on the bikes. No Response from any sales people! Nothing! Not...

Use Nylock nuts. If you not sure what that is, the nut has a nylon insert just abov/below the thread. The nylon takes on the shape of the thread on the bolt and will NEVER vibrate loose. Use them on the 4x4 for roof racks, rooftop tents etc

Hi All, Just noticed the same problem with my Dakar this morning on the way to the office. When I got here I checked the clutch play and saw that the cable is badly frayed, ony 2 or 3 strands left. :xxbah: Any body know where I can get a clutch cable fairly sharpish?  (but not at BMW prices  ;))

Anybody been able to get Anakees recently? I was told yesterday by a JHB bike shop that Michelin are not interested in bringing them here because they don't make enough profit! ???
