Cracklin, sorry, my mistake.  You are correct I was refunded the full amount for the crash bars. I also bought heated handle grips at the same time (on the same invoice).  Must say about the heated grips they work like a charm.  Thx

I have taken the crash bars off and will be sending them back to the supplier.  I will rather run the risk of radiator damage in case of a fall to the left than be pissed off at the vibration every time I get to work or get back home in the afternoon. BUT now the bike vibrates on its own.  Yea...

Michnus its simple, my KLR was fine the way I got from Kawa.  SW Motech parts was added, it was not fine.  What changed?  Go figure.

Another update: Talked a mechanical engineer at work about the vibrations.  Ill spare the details but in short his prognosis was that something in the way the bike operates creates just the right frequency to get the bars to vibrate.  If I could change the weight of the bars that will change...

Guys, thanks for all the replies.  Will get in there with some rubber washers and more lock tight. I can get used to some vibarions, but at times it feels unsafe.  Quite scarey. Will let know if my plans work.

Hi, gusy and gals, I seem to think that I saw a thread about this before but can't find it. Just put SWMotech crashbars on my 2008 KLR and from about 4500 to 5500 rpm it vibrates my fillings loose. Any sollutions?
