Tire pressure was the culprit. You would assume the seller would have chrcked this.... Front tyre was dangerously low! Bought the bike and all it well.
I am upgrading to a NC700 from a DR200.
Took a NC 700 for test drive last night and really liked the size and the increased amount of power, bike has full service history with Honda Tygerberg and only has 11000km on it.
The steering on the bike feels VERY different to my small 200 though...
Test drove a 2012 last night with 11000km on it.
Rides really nicely but the steering is very different to my Dr200. When doing 90 degree turns it felt that the bike wanted to keep doing straight - no idea if this is just because im used to a much smaller bike.
I would need to finance the bike which is difficult if its private sale.
I have dealt with the private financing companies which charge massive admin fees etc making a dealer cheaper in my opinion
The is a 2013 NC 700 with 4000km on the clock for around R60k available in PTA. The thing is this bike sold new for not much more than that. Would you say its still worth it?
