Exactly my point!!! As I said earlier; maybe they have not received the memo that say: Please collect your brain at the Post Office. Could any one spot any of those number plates on a Ride Report???

It makes sense. That is why the bike could move forward on the flat stretches of road at a low speed, but the moment he hits an up hill and request more gas, the bike choked up or basically went into stall mode.

I know at the KTM dealers you can buy filter bags for those trips where you know that the fuel might be dodgy.

Murdoch, have KTM sorted the problem on the "over sensitive fuel pump/filter" out?? The last trip I did with a friend of mine on his 990 adv through the Richtersveld, West Coast, Namakwaland, we bought dirty fuel in Hondeklip baai. The bike started to give him hassles at Stormsriver and seventy...
