As to the actual reason for this phenomenon I cant say. What I do think though is that it's a characteristic of the TA at certain engine temp. Myself and a friend both have TA's , mine 2008 his 2011. We do our own service and repairs on the bikes, valve clearance was checked and confirmed...

Was wondering if anyone has been successful in making a nifty bracket or mounting for their GPS/Phone above the display/dials? There's plenty of handlebar mounts out there but I was thinking of tucking it in under touring screen? Any thoughts? ???

I've currently got Michelin Anakee 3's front and back. ( TA700) If your riding is predominantly tar then this tyre is the way to go. I've done over 12000Km's on them and they are only now starting to show wear, I recon I'll get 16K  -18K out of them before they are ready for replacing. Dislikes...

So I've taken a few pictures (sorry about quality, bit crap, dirty lens) but you should be able to get an idea of how it was done. Bit of flat-bar and angle iron is all it took.  :thumleft:

Hey guys, I've done this mod on my 2008 TA a year ago or so. Wasn't too difficult , I'd say took me 3hrs to make the bracket and mount PoliSport Super Motard front fender. Looks a-hell-of-a-lot better than original. If this topic is still relevant I can take some pics and post it :thumleft: Cheers!

Hi Dogs Selling the kids little bike, 90cc 4stroke Conti. 3 peed with auto clutch so ideal for young beginners. Bike runs fine but can probably do with a new set of rings, slight smoke-trail when hot. Regards, 072one84seven142
