Hey guys,
Anyone come across this problem before:
I came back from a ride this evening, while parking the bike I could here an unusual "ticking" noise from the motor. It was dark at the time so looking down at the motor and zoning in on the noise I noticed huge amounts of sparks jumping around the sparkplug cap straight to the head. Thinking perhaps it was not mounted properly I switched off and checked. I Could not fault it, even inspecting for cracks on the cap all seemed 100%. I checked both cylinders and when running both sparkplug caps would light up with sparks around them?
So next I checked the sparkplug gap, manual says 0.8-0.9mm as standard. Mine was set at 0.8.
I closed the gap to 0.75 and tried it again. Problem seemed to have gone or at least it seemed better.
As I can find no cracks on the caps it seems pointless trying to replace them?
Just stick with smaller plug gap?

Cheers! ???
