Big E, did not really ride it that much in the year i had it due to work load- only 5000km's. If any one was going to doctor the speedo, i think they would reduce the km's and not increase them. Bike was technically sold last night- waiting for bucks to appear in bank.

does anyone perhaps know the steering head bearing numbers for the 950S 2004 model?  KTM do not have stock in CT and I need to replace mine this weekend to leave on a trip this coming Wed. Maybe I should strip tonight and hopefully some bearing shop will be able to help me in the morning.

Hi Cocky I bought a 990s about 9 months ago and kept my 640 adv, just to make sure that I liked the 990, which I do. So I will now let the 640 go. In summary: KTM 640adv  2005 (bought & registered in may 06) 34 000km, crashbars, pannier racks (for soft luggage), large rear luggage rack...

Hi to all. I am not new to the forum (lurked for about 2yrs and been a member for around 3yrs), but have never done this intro thing, not quite sure why. I think in the older days this was not really such a big thing. I find it strange when someone tries to sell a bike that they are lambasted...

2005 model has lockable tank cap and low front fender - this looks like a resprayed 2003 model, which came out with high front fender, screw on tank filler cap and silver in colour.

Hold onto that dream machine until i get through there - I am sure I can be its new owner. Cheers Rob

I'm in with pillion - not so sure about the 'not so much mud' as there is 60% rain forecast. Will swing past the Shell garage and hook up with those there.
