Posted to save others with DOHC GS's from having to get their ABS systems re-set if they try and use that wheel without changing the ABS ring.  I made that mistake and I see no reason why others cannot learn from it. If you have a SOHC GS - then the wheel will work fine. But, the DOHC in 2010...

Just a note - that looks like the wheel from the pre 2010 DOHC model.  I've been bitten by that - the ABS ring has much larger gaps than on my 2011 DOHC.  The different spacing caused the ABS to fault completely - needed resetting at the dealer. 

Thanks Ian.  I took just over 9 hours - but blindly followed the GPS which had routed me to Ramatseliso via Quache's Nek.  I reckon the extra time on the A4 cost about an hour.  C'est la vie. An extra hour on a bike on a road I've never travelled - worth every minute. Fortunately no rain...

The B.I.L. was just about spot on - even with the GSA. Pity the Katoom didn't bother to show up ....  :ricky: Evansv missed out on an awesome ride. 09:04 - but that includes my stupidly allowing the GPS to route me through Quache's Nek to Ramatseliso.  I reckon that cost me about an hour  ...
