We did Bastervoet a week ago in the downward direction it is pretty washed out in a few sections but very doable from west to east direction. Going up might be more of a challenge due to the washed out sections. Plenty of deep ruts and slippery sections but defenitely do-able going down. Going...

Myself and a group of 3 mates just did the Ben 10 passes a week ago. Bastervoet is fine especially if you do it in the downwards direction. Tiffendale is closed so you can not get to the Ben Macduhi pass but the replacement is Bottleneck pass is you still want the browny points...

I read some of the guys rven used a yamaha 21" 1.85 rim and laced it to the BMW hub. Anyone got experience on this?

Mine has been seeping water from 30k km. Im now on 46k km. I think the seal just occasionally leaks when the seal has dried a bit after standing for a while. It seems very progressive so im just taking the chance and monitoring it. (Also carry 500ml antifreeze with me) I would be more worried...

Have been riding mine as is for the last 15k km and it has not got worse. I just fill up the coolant every few months (about 100ml at a time?). Cheaper than the whole damn pump for R2400!
