The Kaoko luggage is great. The straps are tricky to fasten (there are so many), but they do not come loose. It is OK to just leave the bags on the bike. Each bag has a liner that you can remove at the overnight stop. I did not get any dust in the bags, but water will get through the outside...

My Pack was +- 10Kg. Subframe was OK, but some carrier bolts was lost, and then some more broke. Runner changed them to M8 and added lots of Loctite.
