Ek het uit desperaatheid hom goed gespuit gisteraand maar ek dink die skade is reeds gedoen deur die oorverhitting van die kontakte.  Die spookpis (WD40) het geen verskil gemaak nie.

20000km in 15 months, still too early to brag. No hassles yet except side-stand switch that was killed by a flying rock on a recent trip (with pillion) in the Memel area.  WILL get a bash plate before the next gravel.

The 1000 is by far the way to go if you need all the extras.  ABS on tar is however is a big plus for your safety.

Why, except for the price?  Seems to me pretty much the same bike except for small changes (smaller oil cooler, smaller tank but better fuel consumption = same range at less $, changed plastics...)  ???
