if you are concerned about picking up the f800gsa adventure just install sw motech crash bars and it will pick up just as easy as the r1200gs.

I don't think we have the a60 available in SA. The a60 are stronger but heavier which are a big disadvantage for a front wheel.

Hi LeeMicheal Thank. The big problem with most of the alu bash plate are that they only mount on the engine and it may rip your sump out if you hit a rock on the correct angle and height at high speed.
