Are you still looking for a Scrambler? I've got a 2006 with 20k km on, it's the carbed model.(done 3000km of that only in the last 3 years) Got the single and the double seat the fly screen and bash plate fitted. What offers? If there's interest I'll post pics. Julian

Ok I actually bought one of these after I wrote off my 1200GS. Can't compare them, totally different bikes and applications. It's a great commuter, not much different to the 650 on dirt roads, can get upto 160 but 'not comfortably', have spent a few +- 200km days on it and it's definitely not...

Think it's a company called acme that gets these bikes? Wander what they would want for it, after all it's got a new cluctch  ;D

It was a'mission' but thanks to Adventurer went well even tho there were a few times i thought what the *&%^ are we doing and will this ever go back together. :o But it's been a 1000km since and feels better than it did when it was new. Thanks again to Adv for the help.

Had that problem too, Alpina changed it for me under warranty no problem. Apparently quite common. :roll:

Martn Is this a learners you going for?? The BMW course for the actual test is gr8, also helps if you not goign in PTA/ Centurion to go with a local driving school as they know what each test grounds is looking for, but learners is quite easy. Where have you booked?

There's a place in randburg that makes earphones moulded to your ear specifically, the type the tv presenters(completely in ear) use and apparently can be modified to IPOD etc... Will get the number and post it by Monday, I keen to try as all the ones I have tried HURT so far
