I'm going to ride George /Namibia/ Botswanna, mid Jan -Febuary.  Did it last year and used B&B, this time I want to camp.  What do you recommend for a sleeping bag, or can you get away with just a liner.  Was hot last year but not sure if it will be chilly in the mornings.

Hi Will be doing my out of country tax days (60 days) and have a 5 week work hitch.  I want to combine a bike trip to Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique on the way back.  anybody know if any places to securely store a bike for 5 weeks.  I don't mind paying a fee for in-doors.

I'm looking for an R series Project Bike 1975-1985, to convert to Tracker or Café Bike, 800-100cc preferably with wire spoke wheels and low mileage.  Willing to pay good money for nice bike, 30-50k.  preferably in the Western Cape, but will look at any clean bikes.

How it the temperatures at night for camping in Botswana end of march start of April.  I can handle cold but not keen on heat or humidity when trying to sleep.

Going from Kasane to Vic falls, do you cross direct into Zimbabwe, or do you need to catch the Kazengula ferry and go thru Zambia/Livingstone?  I see there is a road on the Zim side but it goes thru a national park.

I'm riding to Vic falls, via Caprivi strip -Kasane.  On the way back down I wondering if its possible to ride south to Bulwayo and over to the Pandametenga border post, going thru the Kazuma National park, and what are the road conditions?  Reading the Zim government pages it says 4 x 4 only.
