Windhoek to Kasane, Caprivi or Makgaddikgadi route????

I'm resuming my Namibia /Botswana /Zimbabwe bike trip next week, after parking my bike in Windhoek for 5 weeks ( work rotation) I cant decide weather to go North, and across the Caprivi or head east Via Maun and across the Makgadikgadi, and then north to kasane.  I will be sticking to tar, as riding solo and on a fully loaded Gsa, so avoiding sand when possible.  The KM and similar, but what's the more interesting route?  Meeting the wife in Vic falls, so have a dealine and need to do 400-450km per day.
