No they are not a booster plug. They plug in in place of the Lambada sensors in the harness and are a resistor to simulate to the ECU that the sensors are still there, otherwise you will get a fault light. It is my understanding is that the Lambada sensors are there for the emission regulations...

That's correct it takes about 10 days for KTM to import one. Obviously not a fast moving item.

Yes apparently the facet pumps give too much pressure and causes leaks. I will give it a go to try and clean it but kinda be a bit leery about trusting it on long journeys. The filter was full of shite but I can't believe that changing the filter is not 1 of the things to do at the major service...

I am needing to take my 990 for 15000km service and I see there are 3 closest to me are Automotorcycles in PE, KTM Cape Town or Peter Henkel cc in CT any feedback on who is preferred would be appreciated. Thanks

I got stuck behind a group of HD's between Oudtshoorn and De Rust during the KKK I would not have minded but they we driving in a log double line at verying speeds from 60 to 80 and no one coud pass to me that just winds up other motorists. Their could have been someone with a genuine emergency...

Might as well just close the road as they'd be going that slow. :biggrin:
