The road from Algeria to Clanwilliam is ok but being severely deteriorated by the increase in truck traffic of late. Does anyone know what this is about? If it carries on, I can't see that road lasting very long. Rob

Really appreciate your feedback - was going to ride there on sunday but it's starting to sound like an alternative will be required. We need to get to Reitz and the other option is the R57 via Heilbron which may be a bit too busy for a bunch ride.

I have been trying to get Google Maps to play nice but have failed so far. As far as I know - Google Maps does not allow custom routes. Once downloaded onto the phone - Google Maps is programmed to route the best route to the destinations entered and NOT the custom route you planned.
