Thanks - Not sure if wiring harness recall was done by prior owner who bought bike new. Will check for any abrasions on harness aswell. Wasnt aware of this problem with the KLR's - this must be problem number 1675 & counting by now... >:( Was this a problem on the 09 models aswell?

Thanks. Opened fuel cap & checked last night - same problem.  :-\ Will check spark plug cap - drain bowl - then replace spark plug tonight.

Greetings Dawgs. So yesterday I leave work a bit early to get some much needed R&R on my Trusty Steed after a hectic 2 weeks. About 2km on the way back home she starts sputtering, backfires & dies - I switch to reserve - Start up again, same thing! WTF! >:(  ( She had her 12,000km service done...
