Greetings Dawgs.
So yesterday I leave work a bit early to get some much needed R&R on my Trusty Steed after a hectic 2 weeks.
About 2km on the way back home she starts sputtering, backfires & dies - I switch to reserve - Start up again, same thing! WTF!
( She had her 12,000km service done about 600km ago, gets washed after every trip, sleeps inside... :xxbah - Increase choke - Start again & rush home at high revs ( Still spluttering, farting & cutting out ).
Now I am no mechanic & my 1st reation is to take her in to get sorted ( maybe i will ) but I know it is important to get to know your bike ( What if this happens in the middle of nowhere...? )
IMHO - I would think this has something to do with the fuel system - Dirt in the carb maybe...?
