Well, sadly I fly back to the muddy Island tomorrow. 3 weeks fun here , and over 2000 miles on my BMW R1100S . Be back for a week at Christmas time so we'll be out on the back roads again !!! 

Yesterday we took another ride, basically inland parallel to the coast through the mountains , Alicante to Benidorm . The roads were awesome , windy windy up to 1400m above sea down to 100m m above sea, up an down all day . 200 miles of really well surfaced roads . Ended at the Motoring...

I'm out here in Alicante area of Spain . We went out tuesday , did 150 odd miles , but I noticed a knocking noise at the rear , mostly on the bloody speed bumps in every village .... I stuck bike on centre stand, and shoock and checked all the obvious .. Wheel , swing arm , brake torque...

I believe so . But living south, I dont get around there too much . Maybe next year I'll do a tour in the area .

In August this year , I bought another BMW , the R1100S Sport model . The red BMW will live in Spain , The silver one , a bit tatty and rough will stay in UK so I can play when I'm there too .  The BMW out at Skenfrith Castle

As some of you may remember, just on 10 years ago we moved to UK , small children's future and blessed with a mother born there . Well , the long adventure began , with no bikes for a few years. However the last 6 years unfortunately , partly because wife wanted divorce ( a long story there)...

Thanks for the great photos . I will be at the Manx GP & Classic TT again this year . Dreams of days gone by , watching bikes & some times riders from back then .

This bike was written up in the TBM magazine about 2 months back . Same as all the reviews , its not quite a bush bike , and not quite a road bike , but for me personally it would do the job very well . Nice looking too , for a Beemer !
