Hey Johan GPS, I had it on my 1200GS and it was " nice" but not essential....if you have the moola go for it....I am not experienced so cannot say that I could feel a huge diff. The times I came off in the sand I would have even if I had two dampers.....I am a NOGBE (Not Good But Enthusiastic)...
