You reckon it's the jet ????? I've cleaned it before and it is a bit of an iffy job. What gauge wire fits the standard hole in the jet ? Heard that a guitar string works -  which one ???

DUX, I've been using Yamalube for 2 or 3 years and problem has only started to manifest itself lately. Got the feeling that if I don't do something about it it can only get worse.

I getting a bit of clutch grab (clutch does not release progressively) when my 2005 950 is cold. Goes away after 2 or 3 minutes and clutch is fine. I'm thinking clutch basket fingers grooved ????? Maybe need to clean the clutch jet ???? Any ideas or advise ?

You could try heating the lever up in the oven for half an hour at full blast - then take it out, put it in a vise and bend it a little so that it clears the bar. That's how I straighten my off road bikes levers.

Actually I have heard of quite a few heavy duty tube failures. They are sudden and flipping scary on the front. Besides the talcum power thought it is imperative that you run the tyres fairly hard if you're moving it up on the tar. The harder the tyre the less sidewall and tread flex and...

You could also try showering the tube and the inside of the tire with lots of talcum powder before you put them in. May help cut down a little of the friction.
