Yup, what I meant was instead of sticking the decal, you spray it, starting solid gold in front and leaving the "550" outlined and in the base blue, with the gold band fading tp the base blue at the back of the tank.

If you are going the OEM+ route, Gold looks so nice on that color, if a bit of custom, why not fade it from solid to mist, with the "550" in the gold band??
