I want to sell my 650 and get something lighter.  I am a women of 55 and the bike feels a bit heavy for me nowadays.  It is a 2010 model with 66 000km on the clock with lots of extras.  What kind of bike do you guys suggest that is lighter and easy to ride for a women.

I have the right one for you. 2010 model (pearl white) almost 60 000km all on tar (commuting).  All services done by the dealer. Lots of extras (a screen that you do not feel any buffeting).  If you interested I will take pics over the weekend, and another extra all km's done by a lady rider.

I am using the "pack-lite" with a fleezy inner I made myself.  Buy 2-3 meters fleezy material and sow it in the shape of the bag, for summer I made an inner out of cotton material just to keep the sleeping bag clean. Works like a charm and it costs you R50 for the material.

What make of fuel do you guys use?  I made a spreadsheet with fuel consumption and it seems that if I use Shell 95 I get more km's per liter.  My bike has almost 7 000km on the clock and the consumption is getting better, at the moment its 24km/l.

I learn to ride on a BigBoy 200 and also got my license with it, now I ride a Suzuki Strom 650 and am very happy with it. I commute between Krugersdorp and Pretoria.

I need to top up the oil (its halfway between L and H) - which oil for the 650?
