so parked my bike only to find someone had tried to strip my ignition with a screwdriver and am in need of the whole ignition system and housing.. please pm me if any WD's know where i could get hold of such an item as i have been told they have been discontinued.

going great.. was back at work for the first time 2 weeks ago on Thursday, and they asked me, "so hows your leg doing?" answering with hype, "yeah its getting better and im fine to walk and what not." next thing i know they throwing a 40 kg bag of sand AT me to carry!  :o haha any way coping...

ouch sorry to hear..i think it had alot to do with the positive people around me and a drive like no other to get off my back! i really do hope that all goes well and can only hope you are up and running just as fast as i was  :thumleft: it sucks having to drag those things around every where...

i am going to try this, hope noerdhoek beach is cold enough for this test..

one of those super masages sounds great right about now, so far I've had to resort to self masages which are not so super. otherwise thanks for the addvice, i have an appointment for Monday and will definitely stop by the physio department before i leave. good luck to your healing as well ...

I'm still being carefull and cautious :thumleft:, i know its not ready to be pushed.. been swimming and consistant with my physio, the leg itself is doing well, its just my knee that's giving me trouble. anyone know what to do about that sort of cramps or pain?

:pot: this is the 2nd best part... the first time riding the xt when its done is the BEST part, hearing that grunt of the engine turning for the first time!!! :drif: GOODLUCK!

and now it was all the cosmetics to be added along with a new loom to be made,which Goose (being the technical genius)did beautifully! and a few extras like battery and what not needed to be bought and the bike was up and running in no time!! :pot: ill get some more recent pics from Goose when...

AND THEN....decided to knock out the seized piston and replace it with the one from the 2nd bikes engine,which was a B###HA! but we managed and got it into the rolling chassis after a few more tweaks here and there and the help of another WD(need to find out his forum name). :thumleft:  

Then we started on the frame and putting those lovely clean rims and wheels on.

then all the painting and smalls were assembled and things started looking good :drif: most of these were done by Goose on account of i stay with the mother and he was almost more eager than i was!! :ricky:

missing quite a few pics, from what i can see that's not a full bike yet :pot: anyway.... had to clean it all and frame,swing arm, triple clamps, and all that stuff got sent off to an industrial sandblaster.

then we sorted everything out after dismantling the first bike to see what we had. this was half of it...
