Thanks for the input. The reason for the work was a bit of smoking and went in for rings, piston, and a request to check everything while it was open. I was then advised that it would make sense to do the conrod bearings as well... The gearbox has not been touched.

Yes, you can still import but fairly expensive. One of my 490s has a DG and pulls like a tank. The other has an OEM, but I suspect that it is may be clogged or incorrect fit? Very lazy... until I swop the pipes on the 2 bikes. A new DG is on the cards if I dont find an older 2nd hand pipe on...
