1 finger clutch setup. Anyone using the far hole?

It seems most people setlle on using the middle hole on the 1 finger clutch arms. I know the 7/890 has some clearance issues with the tank sometimes on the far hole, but this isn't a problem on the Norden, and I really like the light pull on the far hole. I just don't want to end up killing my clutch plates either.

Does anyone actually use the far hole permanently?
