Been riding the Crosstourer for a while now.
Awesome bike. the V4 engine is unbelievably smooth with power from zero all the way to the rev limiter.
Two up with the old Camo panniers and the extra fuel tanks filled it does not even feel the weight.
On gravel it is not bad at all. The weight keeps it planted and never feels the need to be able to switch off the abs.
I obviously keep the speed on gravel to below 100km/h. when fully loaded to ensure enough stopping time for deep ruts as the suspension travel is not in KTM class.
I have not felt the need for more agressive tyres yet. Problem is I think it will destroy knobblies on tar quite rapidly as it is so easy to find yourself hitting 200 so effrtlessly.
Fuel consumption is between 15 and 20km/l. Depending on how agressive on the throttle.
I sure don.t see many of them on the roads.
