When I turn the key on my HP2 there is no power or illumination on the intrument pannel, also no power to the selfstarter.
I need to turn the key several times before any electricity comes thru.
I have tried the spare key as well and still the same problem. I checked the battery, it is fine as well as the connections. This problem seems to happen more often when I do a cold start in the mornings but when I am on a ride and I switch the ignition of and then on again everything seems to work fine.
Could it perhaps be that that "antitheft round plastic thingy" on the ignition does not pick up and read the key or something els?
