SO... I have an opportunity to get a Z1R for a steal, engine rebuilt and all mechanics working 100%. Since I'll be building a cafe racer with modern upside down forks and new brakes in front, I'll have to repaint etc so I'm not too worried about the state of the paintwork etc.
Question is:
How do you guys feel about about the idea of a Z1R. I haven't seen a lot of these in cafe racer form but I do have an idea of more or less what I would like the end result to be:
