Saw this HONDA CX 500 at my place of work today (Killarney Gardens, Cape Town), so poped over to take a look.
The bike is in immaculate condition .... ok, some slight corrosion but what can one expect after more than 30 years! Yes, it is the 1980 model with only 23,000 km.
Turns out that it is for sale!!!! I must confess, I know not much about the CX 500 - other than what I have picked up on the internet - but just the condition and the unusual look (some say its ugly) has made me want this bike.... but dont have the moolas - The owner wants R 16,000 for it. Any one interested? I dont think there is much or any room for negotiation.
