EXtremely interesting article in new bikesa.... theresa wallach and florence blenkiron seem to be first people to ever do 'long way down'  in 1934 on a panther 600 single with sidecar and home made (i guess) wooden trailer... trip took like 8 months including engine rebuild , they apparently rode straight down africa ... wallach went on to become an engineer, open a bike shop, start rider training school , had her licence taken away at age 88 and passed on in 1999 at age 90 .... worth buying january bikesa just for this article ............... hmm seems most of article plaguirised from

i need to buy her books i reckon ...seems she also was a racer and well i guess a biker
