Here is a guy in Windhoek who wants to sell an almost complete 2001 Dakar for really really cheap, but with a few snags. Front shocks were sold separately and the engine has a big hole somewhere in front. Still have to go and have a look at this specimen, but my question is, how easily are 2nd hand rotax engines available and at what cost ( if it is that badly damaged to replace the whole ) and I assume shocks should not be that big of an issue.
The price is the only concern ( why so cheap?) but will go and have a look. imagine 2 Dakkies in the garage.....NICE :drif:
