2005 KLR 650 insurance

Hi recently got a 2005 KLR so now Im trying to organize insurance for the beast. The insurance companies rate the value of the bike, to which it will be insured, as R16 000. This sounds pretty low to me, you are not finding a lekker KLR for that price. Does this sound right to you guys?

Just dont want to shoot myself in the foot here.
