Did my own and Spero's 2008 KLR 650 Doo springs this weekend, thanks Crab for the loan of the tools.
WRGT tightening the flywheel bolt, most references I could find suggest 120 Nm, loosen then pull to 175 Nm.(supposed to be dry, no oil on bolt thread or crank taper) I wasn't happy with the initial 120Nm it did not feel right, so backed it of pulled the flywheel of again and pulled it to 100Nm, feels about right there. Anybody got any suggestions about this, or can confirm correct settings.
Spero's spring was so loose it had vibrated a groove in the post the spring hooks onto, actually took a movie clip showing looseness (16.5Mb)
